10- In this chapter Chris tries to cover his trail so nobody knows his true identity. However, he still manages to put his real information on a W4 form for Westerburg. He also has crossed paths with so manu people, now there are over 100 people who say they know him. The lesson of this chapter is, you can never truly dissappear.
11- We learn about chris' childhood and how it seemed pretty normal. After his childhood he becomes distant from his parents. The life lesson is that we will have a deep impact on our childrens' lives whtether we know it or not.

However, Jon was more prepared by contactiong a bush pilot for a supply drop. The life lesson is we all need something to help us get away and pushing ourselves could be an answer.

He finally reaches the top after nearly destroying his tent and considergin going back to boulder empty handed. once he climbs back down he stumbles upon a man and his family in a small boat. Jon soon realizes that not everyone cares about him or his adventure to the top of devil's thumb. It was such a big accomplishment to him, but in reality nobody lost sleep over his endeavor. We also see how his father meets and ironic death that permanently scars Jon for life. The lesson here i that a major accomplishment to us somebody else couldn't care less about.
